Up Hill and Down Dale

Philippe Desarzens produces different print-based works, designs typefaces and teaches regularly in several design schools in Switzerland. In 2013, he founded Side Issues, an independent imprint dedicated to the publication of projects in the fields of art, science and design, and since 2020 he is part of TETI Press, a publishing house that develops transdisciplinary collective projects.

With Up Hill and Down Dale Philippe explores the pleasure of wandering over mountains and through valleys in an imaginary territory as a tribute to the topography of his home town, Lausanne.
