Revival crackles with tension and proves yet again that King is as masterful a storyteller as he is prolific. King (Mr. Mercedes) is a master at invoking the supernatural through the powerful emotions of his characters, and his depiction of Jacobs as a man unhinged by grief but driven by insatiable scientific curiosity is as believable as it is frightening. The novel's ending one of King's best stuns like lightning.

Not his best nor his worst
I love reading Stephen's books. The characters always become so real. If you are wanting to read a classic, scary King novel, this is not the one for you. If you want one with his great characters that pull you in from the first chapter and wind you along the stories of their lives into a definite King denouement, you will stay up late to finish just like you have with most of his books. Not his best but worth the journey.

One of my favorite SK books, a must!
Revival
It's Stephen King, it's a must read, it's everything you would expect from him. His best? Not by a long shot but still a good read.
