Gripping!
The idea for the book is a bit of a cliche, and very similar to Girl, Missing but other than that it's a great book. The plot is gripping and it's hard to put down. Sophie Mckenzie is a brilliant writer and though this isn't her best book it's an interesting, exciting book. The plot keeps you on your toes and, like most of her books, it turns towards the unexpected. The ending is also very moving. Though it may not be everyone's cup of tea, personally I loved it.
Powerful
I read girl missing and now i have read the sequel, and both are truly captivating and powerful books. This book however, may confuse people because there is a constant change of scene throughout. I do recomend both books if you love excitement and can cope with pain.
Disappointing
Sophie mckenzie's novel sister, missing is a well paced heart breaking sequel to her debut novel girl, missing. However I did struggle with the story line, in the first few pages I was confused -about where the story was taking place, England or America. There were some interesting revelations in this story but they didn't seem that believable. Girl, missing is a brilliant book and I would recommend it to anyone, however sister, missing didn't quite live up to the hype and was unfortunately a disappointing read.
