Good book, iBook edition could be better
The book is good. There is a very good description of many printmaking techniques and tools. The history of each is period of printmaking is covered in brief with noted artists mentioned. My problem with this version is that for the money I paid it would have been nice to be able to see the illustrations. iPad users may be ok with the bigger screen but on my iPod touch none of the pictures have been scanned in a way that allows me to zoom. I can not see any of the prints in detail and that is very frustrating with a download this expensive. I would like to see some of the important prints, at least a few per chapter scanned in at a good resolution before I will increase my review score.
