---------------
Raw, captivating, and undeniably real, Nic Stone boldly tackles American race relations in this #1 New York Times bestselling novel.

Justyce McAllister is top of his class and set for the Ivy League – but none of that matters to the police officer who just put him in handcuffs. And despite leaving his rough neighbourhood behind, he can't escape the scorn of his former peers or the ridicule of his new classmates.

Justyce looks to the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for answers. But do they hold up anymore? He starts a journal to Dr. King to find out.

Then comes the day Justyce goes driving with his best friend, Manny, windows rolled down, music turned up – way up, sparking the fury of a white off-duty police officer beside them. Words fly. Shots are fired. Justyce and Manny are caught in the crosshairs. In the media fallout, it's Justyce who is under attack.

Speechless…Read Now!

This book is beyond beautiful! This is the first book I’ve read since I was a child; (I’m now a twenty one year old), and as a black woman that went to a predominantly white private school…thank you! I’ve never resonated with characters (emphasise on characterS) than in this book. I feel seen, heard and validated… honestly thank you so much. I fell in love with all of them. I was heartbroken multiple times, and giggling, gasping and stunned in other moments. And the ending, oh my goodness gracious the ending was superb!!! Girl, how have I just discovered you now??! Nevertheless, if you ever come to London, even if it’s just me in the audience I’ll be there! I’ve brought all your books now; odd one out, dear justyce and so on. I can’t wait to read!

Keep writing! You have a gift!

Love your new no.1 fan,

Mia Xo
