The False Paradise

Set in 2002, Dylan L. Snelling’s debut horror story “The False Paradise” tells the story of a news journalist from Boston named Matthew Heathers, who is one day sent on a mission down to the coastline of Miami to investigate a sinister island that has mysteriously appeared out in the waters.

Whilst writing the story, author Dylan L. Snelling got the idea for the island-disguised sea monster, which serves as the central antagonist at least partially by the monsters created by the legendary sci-fi horror author H.P. Lovecraft.
