An okay read
Overall, a good book. There were many interesting concepts discussed, such as detecting cloaked vessels, Klingons disguised within the Federation, and so on. However, it was a bit difficult for me to imagine Klingons engaged in this kind of deceptions, and I felt the term ‘New Klingon’ lacked a bit of creativity. I thought the author did a very good job with the character of Kalrind, and I really enjoyed how the author portrayed her in her last scene. The electronic version I read left no space between words when the next word was italicized; this issue disrupted the flow of the read somewhat. Overall, I feel the author did a very good job to give us another Star Trek story for fans to enjoy.
