A terrific read

I wasn’t expecting that this book would be so good, I could see me re-read this book again and again.

Overreaching in places but ultimately a delight

I was easily a quarter of the way through this when I realized I’d read this before, many years ago. I had issues with it then and, even with this semi-fresh re-reading, I have those same issues...

My issues, however, are quibbling. This is a true Trek story, boldly explored by two of the finest Trek writers out there, with full knowledge not only of Trek’s extensive myths, legends, and technical bibble-babble, but also of the characters themselves, the heart of Trek.

It goes off the deep end a few times. Parts are just downright silly. Despite it all, I was glued to the page right to the end, and still didn’t want it to finish.

Used to watch, now I read!

I like STAR TREK but watching fictional series make me sleepy too much. So this is why I READ STAR TREK instead.
