This was such a beautiful, sweet story. I stayed up waaaaaaay too late reading it. Totally worth it!
In my top 3 favorites from Renée
Like Before we Were Strangers (my favorite of her books), this takes a close second. Not only does it embrace the world of friendship that evolves into intimate romance and undeniable love, but it touches on so many feelings of grief, not just the one that Mia has her for father. This story is about becoming your true self, the warrior within, and the man that knew she was there all along. Left me feeling hopeful and misty-eyed. I will cherish this story the way I have cherished “Before We Were Strangers”. It is a love story about loving another, but not before loving yourself.
