Book 3 of the After series—newly revised and expanded, Anna Todd's After fanfiction racked up 1 billion reads online and captivated readers across the globe. Experience the internet's most talked-about book for yourself from the writer Cosmopolitan called “the biggest literary phenomenon of her generation.”

Tessa and Hardin’s love was complicated before. Now it’s more confusing than ever. AFTER WE FELL...Life will never be the same. #HESSA

Just as Tessa makes the biggest decision of her life, everything changes. Revelations about first her family, and then Hardin’s, throw everything they knew before in doubt and makes their hard-won future together more difficult to claim.

Tessa’s life begins to come unglued. Nothing is what she thought it was. Not her friends. Not her family. The one person she should be able to rely on, Hardin, is furious when he discovers the massive secret she’s been keeping. And rather than being understanding, he turns to sabotage.

Tessa knows Hardin loves her and will do anything to protect her, but there’s a difference between loving someone and being able to have them in your life. This cycle of jealousy, unpredictable anger, and forgiveness is exhausting. She’s never felt so intensely for anyone, so exhilarated by someone’s kiss—but is the irrepressible heat between her and Hardin worth all the drama? Love used to be enough to hold them together. But if Tessa follows her heart now, will it be...the end?

After We Fell

Hard to read. A lot of back and forth and there is no chill with the drama. I felt like my head was going to explode. I had to actually take breaks and skip
pages in order to get through it. The movies are nothing like what Hardin is actually like which is a bit unsettling to me. He needs help, professional freaking help! His obsession with Tessa is a little scary at times. I was scared for her at times. I remember reading After We Collided and coming to the conclusion that he is obsessed with her only because he took her virginity and doesn’t want anyone else to have her. Then he verifies that in this book! Of course I think he is in love with her, but I think he only got to love because of how innocent she was. The fact that his family doesn’t do anything to help him baffles me. They always explain away the behavior and enable it. They do help when he needs advice on how to get Tessa back after the hundredth time he’s said something horrible to her or trashed a place *eye-roll*. Tessa also begins to explain away his toxic behavior. She even begins mildly developing his traits. Tessa’s character in this book is not that much better. Her codependency speaks volumes and her childhood trauma does play into the dependency. I like how she got a little sassy but I don’t feel as though it got her very far. She needed to grow some more backbone. When she could have gotten the upper hand she would falter and cave. The only way for her to maintain her ground a little was when she was drinking and was drunk. Which is toxic behavior. It also needs to be noted that Hardin is considered a “bad boy.” What do bad boys always do and isn’t this a story told over and over again there’s just a difference of characters *shrug*. I am aware that they are both very young, this is why again I say this should not be romanticized. I was a bit shocked at certain situations, but I think it’s important to note to people that this is NOT HEALTHY and should not be romanticized. I saw myself siding with Tessa’s mother more and more and I don’t feel guilty about it. I kept screaming out-load, “please just stay away from her this time,” knowing that he was going come back and she was going to let him. I’ve read a lot of books, and I’ve never wanted two people to not end up together ever. This gets a very vague meh from me. Welp, on to the next book hopefully I will change my mind about the series.
