That’s when the terror begins—the phone calls, the threats, the acts of violence. “Cancel the party—or else,” whispers the voice on the phone. Meg is terrified. It’s gonna be a killer party!
The Surprise Party may have been one of the first books in the Fear Street series, but I read tons of other books before I read this one. Some of the other books are better, but this is a suspenseful book, a great story that fans of the series will definitely enjoy!😉 After her boyfriend, Evan was killed in a mysterious accident in the woods, Ellen left Shadyside, and nothing was ever the same. Meg felt as if she had lost her best friends. When she discovers that Ellen is moving back to town, she sees the perfect opportunity to reunite all of her old friends—by throwing a surprise party for Ellen. There’s just one problem—someone doesn’t want the party to happen. And they make their point by terrorizing Meg with threatening phone calls. What really happened to Evan last year? Meg has no doubt that his death is the reason she is being stalked. Can she solve the mystery before they try to kill her... or before they decide to turn the party into a bloodbath? What’s surprising is that The New Girl is the first Fear Street book because this would have been a great introduction to this terrifying series for any and all readers!👍🏻👍🏻
