My opinion on A. S. Pushkin’s novel “ The daughter of the commandant”.
The story was taking place at the time of Queen Ekaterina second’s governance. Peasants were oppressed by noblemen. Some of them don’t mind with it, and some of them were resisting. Our main character’s name was Peter Grinev and he was indeed a nobleman, although his acting was very different from the others. He would do whatever it takes to save his love Mary and to keep his honor even teaming up with Pugachev leader of the resistance. That being sad, my favourite part of the novel is dynamic between Grinev and Pugachev, because Pushkin did a really great job with characterising both of them. I really recommend to read this peace of art to people who had not read it.
