Presidencies are the product of their time. The Kennedy Presidency was often called “Camelot” The name came from First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy as she remarked to the press. She enjoyed the music from the Broadway play. She listened to it frequently in the White House. While Kennedy’s presidency seems to Americans to reflect a modern romantic notion of America, the Pecker Presidency would come to mean something else.
