IRSIS is an undercover institution in South Africa for severely injured soldiers. They use a portal, the only one in the world, to go back in time to eliminate fugitives worldwide: high-profile criminals, terrorists in hiding, and capital offenders who escaped the law of justice by technicality in court. They use these soldiers, men, and women as agents to assassinate these criminals, but at the expense of their families–a crime itself.

Why do they keep the patients sedated when their families visit? Why don't they allow civilian cars past the gates?

A secret agent works her way into the institution to discover what lies behind the secured gates of the grey skyscraper on the city's outskirts.

Will she be able to save these defenceless soldiers, or will the building swallow her whole like the rest of its employees?
