In the bowels of a ruined megastructure, Selene awakens—an abandoned synthetic built for a long-dead purpose. Hunted by biomechanical horrors and unsure of her place in the ashes of humanity, she carves a path through desolate streets and corpse-bots alike. When she meets a grizzled survivor and learns of a hidden colony, hope flickers. But the line between human and machine has long since blurred, and Selene may be more weapon than woman.
