ICity

The activity in this book can be used as a follow-on to the ITravel activity (also available as an eBook). In this book we take the children from a global view to a local one. While building a model city over several classroom sessions, we talk about where we live, on a small scale. We talk about our city, about what kinds of things are found in a city, about the layout of the city, about why a city might look the way it does. In the process, we learn a new side of geography - but we also learn about processes and design thinking.
