Being an only child can be lonely for Lucinda. She can feel like she’s not loved and even feels like she’s missing out on a childhood. 

She needs a little bit of magic to bring happiness to her.

In 2011 Rita lost her sight. She loves children’s books and in 2012 wrote the story of Lucinda with the help of her friends, Francesca Wellman who helped with typing the manuscript & Melissa Leech helped with the drawings.
