Descripción editorial
O. M. appeals from orders of the juvenile court transferring him to circuit court for prosecution as an adult for the crimes
of arson and murder. On the evening of May 12, 1988, the 16-year-old appellant, his 17-year-old uncle S. T., and his adult uncle Yul "Bobo" Guice,
were involved in a fight at a housing project in Gadsden. Their adversaries included Anthony "Scoop" Sharp, Sol Reynolds,
and Benny Brown. The fight erupted after Brown made a disparaging remark about a woman who was the aunt of appellant and the
sister of S. T. and Yul Guice.
