ORC’d by the Emperor

URGENT WARNING to Seasons of the Fae fans: Clara Quinn’s Middle Realm is REAL!

Since the author’s mysterious disappearance, her books have been working as portals. Whenever some poor reader wishes out loud that they could live in her world, they get isekai’d into a realm full of Fae, Minotaurs, Trolls, and Orcs. Do not—I repeat, DO NOT—wish out loud to go to the Middle Realm!!!

Unfortunately, this warning went up after I got portaled out of my bath, mid-peppermint bark, the night before a big test that was supposed to fix my dumpster fire of a life.

At the Middle Realm way station, I get three choices:

Scrub floors in some snooty Fae’s castle.
Enlist in the Troll Army, the only army here that accepts human women.
Sign up for the Registry, basically a bride auction for monsters looking for human wives.

I pick the Registry, because it seems like the easiest way to buy time while I find a way home.

Then I get chosen by an Orc Emperor whose full name is (I kid you not) Ivar the Terrible.

He’s got ivory tusks, a couple of feet on me, a cultural bias against shirts, and, if the ridge under his loincloth is any indication, a massive… secret.

Then there’s the hungry way he looks down at me from his throne of skulls and bones. Like he wants to eat me. Or eat me. I truly can’t tell which, until I go into heat.

And he asks, “Would you like to join me up here on my throne, little bride?”

Welp. This romantasy I’ve fallen into is about to get a whole lot crazier.

The standalone Book 1 of the Ruthless Orcs series includes:

An accidental portal
Instant marriage to a very large Orc Emperor
Star-fated mates
An EXTREMELY public wedding night
Unhinged spice
A heroine who might have a hard (in the best way) time coming home
A guaranteed happily ever after
No Cliffhangers and a super sweet epilogue
