Religion Unplugged

Religions were created by humans from ancient myths.The spirituality, faith, and morality that are implicitin religions should have ennobled humans. Instead,throughout history, religion has been plagued byintolerance, persecutions, and wars that negated thebenevolence contained in all religious doctrine. Theproblems besetting religion arise from fanaticism, lustfor power, and dogmatism. These aspects of religion,as well as spirituality and the role of women, arediscussed. The means for reforming religion areuniversal liberal education, religious democratization,improved communication among religions, and a renewalof spirituality.
