About the Author: Patricia Pearce loves children and is amazed by how they are so free spirited and excited over every new discovery in life. She has been writing children’s stories the past two years and this is her first children’s book. Patricia lives in Toronto and works as a photolab technician.



About the Illustrator: Joanne Purdy’s paintings are in corporate and private collections throughout Canada, the USA, and Europe. Painting has been Joanne’s passion for as long as she can remember and for the last twenty-three years she has been helping others realize theirs too, through seminars and classes. Although Joanne has received formal art training, she believes her best training has come from field work, and studying with world-renowned artists Lincoln Fox, Tom Browning and Paul Leveille.

At present her work is on display and available for purchase at Ste. Anne’s Country Inn & Spa northeast of Toronto.

She currently resides in Grafton, ON with her husband Ray and son Nicholas.
