State V. Maturana

On February 26, 1992, defendant, Claude Eric Maturana, was convicted by a jury of first degree premeditated murder for the July 6, 1990 killing of Glenn Estes, a 16-year-old boy in Tucson. The trial court sentenced defendant to death. This is an automatic, direct appeal. A.R.S. § 13-4031; Rules 26.15 and 31.2(b), Ariz. R. Crim. P. We have jurisdiction pursuant to Ariz.
