STEM @ FRES

At Fall River Elementary, a STEM Focus school, students practice important 21st century skills of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication and information literacy.  Integrating core and specials subjects, such as reading, writing, social studies, art, and music, with Science, technology, engineering, and math, increases student engagement. STEM integration allows students opportunities to practice empathy, prototyping, giving and receiving feedback, and redesigning.  Students solve real-world problems, listen to each other, consider different perspectives, evaluate and make decisions, and find joy in creativity and hands-on learning.
