2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NKJV)
9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Why all the frustration, mistakes, failure, pain?
God is building our spiritual strength.
You have worldly strength, which is strength in the flesh.
Spiritual strength. Strength in the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ has unlimited strength.
While we are in this world, God, Jesus Christ, is teaching us
to not rely on our fleshly strength, but to learn to turn to His strength.
Keeping our peace.
We are in a Spiritual battle here!
This is spiritual warfare.
Why fight a spiritual battle in the flesh?
Satan would certainly like to see us try to fight that way!
We already have all the power in the Universe through Jesus Christ.
Often times, it takes our own mistakes and failures to realize this.
This is the training.
When we simply keep our peace in the middle of the storms of life,
when all evil and Satan's agents have aligned against us, we give God
the opportunity to wipe them out.
Wait on the Lord for the Victory.
Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
