Summer at Sunflower Cafe

When twenty-something office worker Alison is told that she will now answer to an inflatable AI robot, she decides it's time for a change.

So when her best friend Molly heads to a farm in beautiful Cornwall for the summer and tells her about a reclusive old woman looking for help in her long-closed café, Alison jumps at the chance.

It sounds idyllic. It isn't.

Between showering beneath a waterfall, dealing with the impossible Mrs Mullins and trying to breathe life back into the abandoned café, Alison soon discovers that country life is nothing like she imagined. And when Mrs Mullins begins sabotaging her every effort, Alison has to decide just how badly she wants to make the café a success.

With her sarcastic phone app Barbara offering questionable advice, two handsome men competing for her attention, and a mysterious stranger hiding in the woods, Alison has plenty to keep her distracted.

But can she overcome Mrs Mullins, reopen the café and perhaps find a little summer romance along the way?

From the author of Christmas at the Marshmallow Café and Autumn at Sycamore Park comes a warm, funny and feel-good romantic comedy about fresh starts, unexpected romance and finding happiness in the most unlikely places.

Perfect summer reading for the beach—or a rainy afternoon with a coffee and a slice of cake.
