The Fixer

Garrett Drayven was a Fixer; the man people came to when they needed help, legitimate or otherwise.  He'd needed his cousin's help, and the price was to work for his business for a while.  It had been fun and rewarding at first; Garrett was a university student who was suddenly somebody important, dealing with worldly people who grew to count on him.

Only later did he realize what kind of person his cousin was, how dangerous and ruthless he could be.  By then, Garrett was in too deep; you didn’t just get to walk away from the secrets and confidences held between a Fixer and his clients.
