The Gopher Chronicles

Following the war where Mother Nature rid the world of the humans, Abner the Gopher starts to feel the unsettling itch that perhaps he had not lived his life to the fullest and vows to make the most out of his time left. Although Abner is small in stature, stricken with terrible eyesight, and aged in years, his heart, courage, and general willingness to help out those in need allow him to overcome any and all obstacles thrown his way along his quest for purpose; plus he has a hat.

Much to Abner’s pleasure, his tale is filled with a plentiful bounty of quirky and remarkable characters including a cast of pirates, a sadistic baker, a love or two, some numbers he could count on, and many other animals of all shapes and sizes. With each individual Abner aids, and with each barrier he overcomes, he learns a little bit more about life, and more importantly a whole lot more about himself.
