THE STONE HEART

Ned Blanchette was a man who disliked surprises. 

His life as a teacher was precise and well-ordered…entirely predictable. But it wasn’t simple, however. He was divorced and a part-time Dad to a precocious pre-teen and lived part-time in a cabin in The Black Hills of South Dakota. 

He could not have predicted that summer, a summer of falling in love, of renewing old friendships and, most surprising, of murder. 

It would a summer that would change him forever.
