Turkey’s June 7, 2015, Election Campaign Brings Changes
Descripción editorial
The governing AKParty, which has added to its share of the vote in each succeeding election since it first achieved power in 2002, is expected to experience a decline in the June 2015 parliamentary elections. The Kurdish HDP may win enough votes to take seats, and it is possible that no party will win an outright majority, forcing the formation of a coalition government. This would at least postpone the AKParty’s hopes to revise the current constitution.
