Upside: Book 1 - The Early Years

After almost five thousand years, the inhabitants of Castra City are growing restless … The Upside beckons; Castra city, once an incredible underground refuge for One million souls, protecting them from the end of the world, is now crumbling and decaying around them.

Plans are made to escape their tomb and discover Upside.
But plans can be frustrated.
Book 1 follows the development of Rob’s young life, and his subsequent opportunity to lead a team of thirty troopers, as he is tasked to explore the Upside.
What he finds is not what they deserted all those years ago. Disaster and destruction await Alpha troop. Until vastly diminished in numbers, the survivors are rescued by The Tirnano Clan. Rob after being captured by horrific creatures escapes, and continues with two female companions, battling to find a solution to the problem which threatens to destroy the reborn planet.
But he needs more than human assistance.
