Ordinary people living their lives - here today, gone tomorrow, abducted one by one, never to be seen or heard from again. By whom? For what purpose? In every case, a mysterious voice has helped them through crises, giving advice, offering guidance. That same voice was there at the end. Mankind is headed down a dark path toward destruction.
