I didn’t know I was losing myself over and over until I woke up. I lost myself when my marriage ended, when people didn’t like me, when my body failed me, and on many days when things were simply bad.

I started to ask myself…. Who am I?

Who is the girl inside without the titles, without the fears and doubts, without my body, without my people?

Then something important changed. I learned to be still and listen.

The more I listened and got to know Her, the more She woke up. The more She woke up, the more I understood about my creation and the experience of this life.

Finding myself didn’t require a yoga retreat to Costa Rica. I didn’t spend a year as a Buddhist Monk. There was no month-long trip to Paris to paint and eat croissants. There was just me asking myself questions and paying attention to the answers. I found my true self in my regular everyday life.

Waking her up has illuminated my life, my relationships, and changed the course of my universe.
