Colour Had All Been Packed Away

This is a contemporary story with a French overtone about a failed romance. Colette strives to survive her broken relationship with Paul, whom she once thought to be the love of her life. She removes colour from her life and submerges herself in a sea of black. Love is lost, leaving behind an aching, broken heart and memories. Her senses let her down as smells, tastes, sights and sounds only remind her of what she no longer has. Time passes, and then there is Gerard. Colette purposefully erases all trace of her previous lover from her life. Hope looms bright before her and the possibility of a new start.
