When marine biologist Ryan joins the aging research vessel Queen Velvet, she's not looking for adventure, she's running from a past that still smells like blood. Years ago, her father died at sea, torn apart by something massive beneath the waves.

Now she's back on the water.

As the ship pushes farther offshore, two enormous sharks begin stalking the vessel, circling with unnerving precision. This isn't a random encounter. These predators follow, wait, and strike with intent, as if they remember her.
