Beschreibung des Verlags

Dracula tells the story of Count Dracula’s attempt to move from Transylvania to England to spread the undead curse, and the battle between him and a small group of people led by Professor Abraham Van Helsing.

The novel is written in epistolary format (diary entries, letters, telegrams, newspaper articles), giving it a sense of realism and suspense.

Main Plot:

Jonathan Harker, a young solicitor, travels to Dracula’s castle in Transylvania to assist with a real estate transaction. He soon realizes he is a prisoner and that Dracula is a vampire.

Dracula sails to England, bringing terror with him.

He targets Lucy Westenra, who falls mysteriously ill. Despite medical help, she dies and rises as a vampire.

Van Helsing and a group of allies (Harker, Mina Harker, Arthur Holmwood, Quincey Morris, and Dr. Seward) join forces to hunt Dracula.

The pursuit takes them back to Transylvania, where they ultimately destroy Dracula, freeing Mina from his curse.
