She was the mystery he kept coming back to. 

 

Felix Halliday, former Navy SEAL and family daredevil, couldn’t stay away from the beautiful book-lover.  Every Thursday, like clockwork, the adorable redhead came in to the pub, ordered a glass of wine and read her book.  Until one day…she sat down across from him and asked him to help her! 

Giselle Bartolini knew that she couldn’t compete with the women Felix normally dated.  But he could teach her to be more of a femme fatale.  She wanted a husband, kids, a dog and a cat – the opposite of what Felix desired in life.  But she needed his daredevil ways to pull her out of her books so she could find the “perfect” husband. 

Felix is completely on board.  And even more so when he discovers that Giselle is in danger!  Can he convince her not to change anything about herself, while also keeping her safe from an ominous threat?  Will she accept his help, or is Giselle too determined to figure out who is threatening her on her own? 

And how is Felix going to convince Giselle that he might be the perfect husband?  How can he convince her that his daredevil days are over when she’s convinced that he needs the danger to satisfy his soul?  In Felix’s mind, he only needs Giselle!
