Contributes to scholarship in genre studies and discourse analysis in contexts of social change. Wegner shows how systems of genre adapt to change as groups and institutions struggle across genres and their spheres of activities over the “uptake” of solutions to social challenges, specifically the “Housing First” solution to homelessness.
