Involved are two actions for damages predicated on claims of negligence. They were consolidated for trial. One of the actions was commenced February 1, 1954, and the plaintiff therein is Geraldine Braatz of Milwaukee. The defendants are Joseph Takacs of Milwaukee; his automobile insurance carrier, Continental Casualty Company; and also Milwaukee Automobile Insurance Company, Ltd. Mutual, automobile insurance carrier of the car operated by the impleaded defendant, Myrtle Kourt at the time when the plaintiffs claim arose. Myrtle Kourt was impleaded as a defendant at the instance of the defendants, Takacs and his carrier. In the other action, which was commenced September 15, 1954, Ralph A. Braatz of Milwaukee, husband of the above mentioned Geraldine Braatz, is the plaintiff. The original defendants and the impleaded defendants in this action are the identical persons named as party defendants in the action brought on behalf of Geraldine Braatz.
