A heart-warming story about a young girl and a TV presenter who form an unlikely friendship and work together to rescue and rehabilitate a group of orphaned kangaroos.

Inspired by a true story and based on the highest-grossing Australian film of 2025, which is scheduled for release in UK cinemas in January 2026.

Charlie has only been in Silver Gum for a week and she's already saved three orphaned joeys. The joeys are the only thing Charlie likes about this remote place her mum has dragged her to. All she really wants is to go back. Back home and back to before, when Dad was with them.

Chris wants to go back in time, too. Back to when he was a successful weatherman and the whole country didn't hate him. What he doesn't want is to be in a place that's barely even on the map.

But when Chris gets stranded in Silver Gum, Charlie sees an opportunity. Could Chris be the answer Charlie and the joeys are looking for?
