इस उपन्यास में एक स्त्री और एक साधु के बीच की कहानी में स्त्री के लाल आँचल के टुकड़े का दान ले कर ही उस साधु का सन्यास पूर्ण होता है। कहानी पूरी तरह से आध्यात्मिक है और सांसारिकता से वैराग्य के ओर गमन की कहानी है।

एक और चरित्र इस कहानी को रोचक बनाता है वो है किशोर वय का एक बाल साधु इनके चित्रण में ही उपन्यास की पूरी कहानी है।
लेखक ने एक अभियंता के रूप में अपने व्यावसायिक जीवन की शुरुआत की और एक प्रबंधक के रूप में बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनियों को अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे हैं। इसके अतिरित्क इनका परिचय एक ज्योतिषी और लेखक के रूप में भी है।

Another character that makes this story interesting is the portrayal of a juvenile monk on whom the novel is based. The author started his professional career as an engineer and is also offering his services as an organizer to various multinational companies. Other than this, he is an astrologer and a writer too. He has given programs related to astrology through television and various communication mediums. He is praised for his astrological book i.e. ‘Rainbow of Tarot Cards’ in English language. In addition, his stories and poems are regularly published in newspaper and magazines.
