Beschreibung des Verlags

In this book I describe some of the more technical aspects of listening. Here there is an attempt to understand how information flows through a person’s brain and what the person actually does when performing some of the skills associated with quality listening.
It is my position that people cannot listen well unless both the philosophy is lived and the skills are developed. Listeners must value the people and the information involved. (See Halley “And then I was surprised by what you said: the impact of love and listening on community”) They must also understand the processes and skills associated with consuming the information and perspectives of others and develop the skills to process these effectively.
