Moving Forward

For most of three decades, multi-award-winning cartoonist Mark Knight has been capturing the heart and soul of Australia - and the world - in his cartoons, illustrations and caricatures published daily in the Herald Sun.


Moving Forward is the first Mark Knight annual, and it covers a year in the work of the cartoonist - and what a year it was!


The period 2009-2010 saw a year in which Tiger Woods transgressed, again and again and again … and Barack Obama settled into his historic presidency … and, Down Under, we had the election campaign we had to have after the government decided the reign of Kevin Rudd as PM had reached its use-by-date.  Then came Julia Gillard, Tony Abbott and the saga of The Three Amigos.


Mark Knight covered all this and much more.  Moving Forward is a year in his life, and the life of all Australians.
