'No Particular Home At All' Would you go back, if you had the chance? That's what [her grandchildren] wanted to know, what they seemed to be asking her.... (What was it like, the place you left behind? ...) Home was the place you lived now, the place you rived then, the place you came from, the place you went to. The place you want to be at the end of the day, when your feet are tired and you want something hot for dinner. The place where you never lived, the place you dreamed about. The place you saw in the movies, more familiar than your own country. The place you remember which doesn't actually exist. She wanted to tell them that the world was flail of beautiful places where it rained a lot, and that this was just one of them.
