The gates of Porta Romana
Beschreibung des Verlags
The classwork is developed in the following way, according to the maieutic approach, created by Dott. Daniele Novara from CPPP of Piacenza:
first of all the teacher chooses an argument that is going to be the starting point that bring students to ask some questions: those questions are analized and voted to have then a discussion between everyone in the class.
The class then works on the chosen question or questions, and that’s the time in which our digital abilities become very important.
In our work, for instance, we use the “Everyone can create” program.
Working all together, each student has the opportunity to share his skills and knowledge with his classmates.
Therefore everyone develops new soft skills.
In this project two teachers (Andrea Maricelli, an Apple Distinguished Educator, & Ada Wieder) guided at about 35 students (from 15 to 19 years old), dividing them in groups: each group had at least one member of each class.
The work was focused on the Gates of Porta Romana.
Each group worked with different apps about different topics:
- iMovie
- ARmaker
- GarageBand
- Pages
- Sketches school
- Clips
