The Paper Vortex

The story of Giacomo Riberi, a young nonconformist intellectual who refuses the values of the bourgeois society, loves books and dreams about literary glory.
An aspiring writer, he will unfortunately discover that the pursuit of literary success demands to settle for compromises which will shake his beliefs. After becoming a successful author, he will have the strength to do an act of rebellion which will give him back the integrity of his principles.
“The Paper Vortex” is a reflection on the eternal fascination of literature and words, but also on the inner workings and non-written laws which rule the publishing industry. A peculiar story which tries to become universal, where everyone will be able to recognize a part of themselves and their experience.
