The Winter Alphas' Breeder

Humans and Lycans had coexisted for hundreds of years, until the plague wiped out half of the lycan population. Their women died, and they were forced to take humans as breeders. Each year during the Summer Solstice, the beasts ascend into the human cities looking for women to bear children. Every woman over the age of eighteen is forced to offer themselves to the lycans. First, the Alphas come inspecting the women like cattle. Once they have had their pick, their Betas choose. It goes on until all of the beasts have a woman or there are no more.
To escape this fate, my parents disguised me as a boy. Year after year, I lived silent and unseen.
But this solstice, my body betrayed me. The scent of blood gave me away.
I was taken as a Breeder.
Will my life end in tragedy? Not quite.
Because when they discover the truth that I am the key to their survival, everything changes.
Will I save the very race that enslaves women? Or let them perish?
