What's Wrong With You‪?‬

The authors have experienced or witnessed a child who looks or acts differently being asked, “What’s wrong with you?” Although the intent may not be malicious, this question can be hurtful for the child who has a physical, cognitive, emotional, or sensory challenge. The purpose of the book is to raise awareness of the capabilities of children with diverse abilities. This book will educate children on interacting with a person who moves, looks, or acts differently. Children/students of diverse needs and abilities are still capable and desire the same experience in life as their peers. The authors would like to illustrate what others may perceive as children’s weaknesses can actually be their gifts to us all.
