The long-awaited sequel to 12 RULES FOR LIFE, which has sold over 5 million copies around the world

In 12 Rules for Life, acclaimed public thinker and clinical psychologist Jordan B. Peterson offered an antidote to the chaos in our lives: eternal truths applied to modern anxieties. His insights have helped millions of readers and resonated powerfully around the world.

Now in this much-anticipated sequel, Peterson goes further, showing that part of life's meaning comes from reaching out into the domain beyond what we know, and adapting to an ever-transforming world. While an excess of chaos threatens us with uncertainty, an excess of order leads to a lack of curiosity and creative vitality. Beyond Order therefore calls on us to balance the two fundamental principles of reality - order and chaos - and reveals the profound meaning that can be found on the path that divides them.

In times of instability and suffering, Peterson reminds us that there are sources of strength on which we can all draw: insights borrowed from psychology, philosophy, and humanity's greatest myths and stories. Drawing on the hard-won truths of ancient wisdom, as well as deeply personal lessons from his own life and clinical practice, Peterson offers twelve new principles to guide readers towards a more courageous, truthful and meaningful life.

Studio of rock ,

For all those whom lacked the parental guidance.

To me, Dr Peterson is like my internet dad, it’s been the lack of guidance, having been without family since I was 14,
As a married adult, I was genuinely struggling in finding a path and a purpose other than what I know, but nothing that can realign my path into adulthood, maturity, responsibility and so on, I see my faults, I know my weaknesses,
he helped me with the first book to see why, how and when, “take on more responsibility” that’s a powerful valuable advise I wish someone told me along time ago.
I listened to the first book in full about 5 times at least,
And when this book came out, well if you have genuinely worked hard on yourself from the first book, this would have been almost like the ultimate confirmation of your new found and formed understanding, and from here it is a continuation into forming a better and more profound understanding of yourself, it is not complicated, but quite confronting,
On a side note, if you followed dr Peterson’s struggle during 2019 like I did, the first part of the audio book shows with absolute certainty how strong, focused and lucky dr Peterson is to be alive, and to have survived, thanks in whole part to his family and especially his daughter for bringing him back, and for that I personally thank you for that.
To say that I found myself reaching the majority of the same conclusions that are outlined in this book is a under-statement, to say I actioned them most would be a lie, but bringing my understanding from the first book I can clearly see why I haven’t, I’m on my 4th full listen now.
I thank you internet dad Dr Peterson,
I am forever grateful and honoured to have you in my life, even tho it’s in the form of audio/visual form.
