Carry On, Jeeves (Unabridged Selection‪)‬

This collection of the fantastic classic P.G. Wodehouse Jeeves & Wooster stories is woefully let down by lazy packaging. The fact all ten stories are all on one huge 4 1/2 hour track betrays a cynical rush job to cash in on the popularity of this material by spending next to no time on the presentation, thus maximising profits. As such you are left with the situation of having to remember how far you are through the recording when you return. That is unless you listen to the whole lot at once, which is unlikely.

Indeed, it reminds me of the old cassette days where there was no track skipping. I'm surprised Apple let through as such. I doubt you would find the same problem if you purchased it on CD. This should have been a five star purchase. I'll be sure to check the track listing when I buy my second audiobook.

I am laughing out loud at this, listening to it in the car. The way the narrator tells the story is quite amazing. It sounds like he had great fun recording it. I can’t stop listening.
