Entertaining
This is the second book in the Doctors series and is Zach Cove’s story. He is a gastroenterologist but underneath his gruff exterior lies the heart of a man who wants to follow his dreams and become a writer.
Ellie is excited to have gotten the job as Zach’s personal assistant, a means to an end to becoming a chef and attending the Cordon Bleu school. Coming off a 10 year relationship that really wore her down she is looking forward to moving on with her life.
Ellie’s growth throughout this story was heart warming as she finally, with Zach’s support, came into her own. I found Ellie easy to relate to and I loved how Zach was there for her, determined to make up for all she hasn’t had in a relationship before and to prove that he is the man for her.
There was witty banter, heat and romance throughout the story and I found myself smiling at the end. This was an entertaining story that ticked a number of boxes for me.
